The Triumph of Desire over Reason

The Triumph of Desire over Reason

Video presented at Y: Slow TV Cinema in Prague (CZ) on 8 and 9 November 2024.

Y: Slow TV Cinema wants to celebrate the moments when time slips through our fingers and we surrender ourselves to a hedonistic immersion in the moving images projected on the wall. Attention is unfocused, concentration is dispersed over the widest possible area, and sleep comes and goes with an irregular rhythm. Twenty-four films newly created by twenty-four artists, projected in a row, one by one.

The event is curated by Anna Chrtková and Petr Dlouhý.
Partners: Homo Novus Festival, SPRING Performing Arts Festival Utrecht

Concept and direction: Julian Hetzel
Music & composition: Aengus Havinga
Video: Reynold Reynolds
