The Triumph of Desire over Reason

Video presented as part of the film programme Y: Slow TV Cinema, curated by Anna Chrtková and Petr Dlouhý at the International Festival of Contemporary Theatre HOMO NOVUS, Riga (LV), Divadlo X10 Performing Arts Festival, Prague (CZ) and SPRING Performing Arts Festival, Utrecht (NL).

Y: Slow TV Cinema wants to celebrate the moments when time slips through our fingers and we surrender ourselves to a hedonistic immersion in the moving images projected on the wall. Attention is unfocused, concentration is dispersed over the widest possible area, and sleep comes and goes with an irregular rhythm. Twenty-four films newly created by twenty-four artists, projected in a row, one by one.
