Podcast: Des Pudels Kern with Julian Hetzel and Nikita Dhawan
To warm up for the SPAfrica show at KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen, Hannover (DE), the festival invited Julian to join the popular Des Pudels Kern podcast.
On Saturday 13 April, Prof. Dr. Nikita Dhawan (postcolonial theorist and professor at TU Dresden) and Julian Hetzel met Elisa Erkelenz and David-Maria Gramse of Des Pudels Kern at the Hanover Linden bar WeinZeit for an entertaining and provocative conversation about the ambivalences of the global art world and empathy and trauma as the new gold.
Des Pudels Kern (The Crux of the Matter) is a podcast discussion series on classical and contemporary music, philosophy, art and science. The conversation (in German) will be published on 01 May on all the usual channels and broadcast on WDR3.
